Yalçın Şentürk – Founder & Managing Director:
Hello, I'm Yalçın Şentürk, the founder and managing director of Atılım Group Makina.
My academic journey began in 2001 at Koç University, where I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I later transferred to Sabancı University, completing 1.5 years in Mechatronics Engineering before switching departments. In 2007, I graduated from Sabancı University with a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
Following my studies, I founded my own company in the IT, software, and security systems sector, where I successfully carried out numerous projects for corporate clients for many years.
In 2013, I joined our family company, Atılım Makina.
In 2014, I obtained my Class C Occupational Safety Expertise certification and continued contributing to our company's growth and modernization.
Established in 1986, Atılım Makina has been manufacturing process equipment, turnkey production facilities, construction works, and both standard and custom-designed machinery for the chemical and paint industries. As one of the oldest companies in the sector, we have operated with a strong focus on export for the past 10 years—approximately 70% of our production is exported to the Middle East, Africa, and many other regions worldwide.
Throughout our journey, we have collaborated with major global industry leaders, including a long-term partnership with Oliver & Batlle, one of Spain's top machinery manufacturers.
We firmly believe that experience and education create exceptional results. For this reason, our company works with a highly skilled technical team and master craftsmen who have been with us for 10, 20, and even 30 years. This strong foundation enables us to deliver outstanding engineering solutions both domestically and internationally.
Despite the many challenges faced in Türkiye and within our company over the years, today we continue to design and implement advanced, design-centered technologies and deliver successful industrial projects across the world.
As an active exporter and a Green Passport holder, I personally take part in international business development, supplier relations, and turnkey facility installations. I have successfully commissioned numerous plants both inside and outside Türkiye.

Yalçın Şentürk, the founder and managing director of Atılım Group Makina Ltd Co, has extensive experience in machinery manufacturing, chemical process systems, industrial plant installations, and international trade. Throughout his career, he has played an active role in the establishment, development, and modernization of numerous chemical and industrial production facilities both in Türkiye and abroad.
With a strong background in DOP–DOTP plasticizer plants, resin and polymer production systems, process equipment manufacturing, and turnkey industrial solutions, he has contributed significantly to the growth of many companies in the chemical and plastics industry.
